If you want to make sure that these are freezer-friendly, be sure to leave out any water stuffing, such as tomatoes, salsa, or lettuce, which simply results in a disgusting tortilla.
I use large “Burrito-sized” 10-inch flour tortillas (I like the Mission brand because they are extra soft and easy to bend without tearing). This burrito recipe makes 6 huge burritos! This means that my children (and often myself) can only finish about half of the burritos in any meal. As a result, I usually bake three Burritos in an eight-inch square pan for one night … and save the other 3 in the freezer for another meal. Two dinners for 1 attempt! Boxing.
If you prefer small burritos, you can adjust the number of ingredients that you use. For example, use less rice or less cheese for a lighter option.
