  We all have recipes that use some portion of lemon or another.  Whether it is pulp, juice, zest, or peel.

  It is common knowledge that you can use freshly squeezed lemon juice for many alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

  It is a major ingredient in many sweet or salty dishes.  More often than not, the simple addition of lemon juice or lemon zest gives any dish that is a wow factor.

  If you're a lemon lover, get ready for an incredible blast of refreshment ... you're going to love it better than Starbucks Lemon Bread!

  dry ingredients.  This includes flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  It is important to prepare your pan before you either start oil and flour or spray non-stick spray into a 9 x 5 (2L) loaf pan.

  Next, mix the dry ingredients.  In a large bowl, squeeze the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.  While we begin the process of making the best quick bread recipe, set it aside.

  Place the softened butter into a large mixing bowl of a stand mixer and, with the paddle attachment, beat the butter for about 2-3 minutes on medium speed.

  Slowly add the sugar to a thin stream, and beat for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  Scrape the sides of the bowl and give it another whirl.

  Next, add eggs, one at a time.  Once again, it is important to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.  It only takes a few seconds and ensures uniformity in the mixture.

  At this point, note how thick the mixture is.  It will look slightly different when you add lemon juice, so don't be shocked.

  Note that the mixture looks like milk when lemon juice is added.  It is common.

  The next step is to alternate dry ingredients and milk addition.  On a low speed, add half of the flour, then half of the milk, and repeat once more

  Finally, pour the ghee into the pan and bake in a 350 ° F (175 ° C) preheated oven for about 60–75 minutes or until the cake tester is clean.

  Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely on a wire rack.

  As an alternative, mix the ingredients and brush the top of the bread to make a lemon glaze.  For an extra lemon flavor, poke a few holes on the surface of the bread, allowing the bread to be glazed to permit.

  Tips, tricks, and recipe notes:


  Make sure the oven is preheated to the correct temperature.

  Take out milk, eggs, and butter 30-60 minutes before starting.

  Cream softened butter, then slowly add sugar until light and fluffy.  This step takes at least 5 minutes.

  Add eggs one at a time and beat properly after each addition.  Be sure to lower the bowl during this process.

  Reduce speed while adding flour and milk.  Never mix.

  Lemon recipe is an ingredient in this recipe.  It has a shiny yellow outer layer of lemon peel.  Use a micro-plane or a box greater for grating.  Make sure you only grind the yellow part because the white peat is extremely bitter.

  Make this lemon according to your taste by adding thin almonds (or cup) or poppy seeds (2 tbsp).

  How long does it take for the butter to soften?  Take the butter out of the refrigerator and leave it at room temperature for 30-60 minutes before starting your recipe.
